Treat Yourself To A Spa Day At Home
Have a plan in your mind. You should think about what you want from your home spa day. You may just want to relax or on the contrary, get energized. Seek the appropriate ways to achieve your goals.
Prepare everything you need to have the spa, such as slippers, spa CDs, candles, clean sheets and towels, exercise clothing and so on. They will be a great help in your latter process.
Have a healthy meal. Have your own home spa menu that keeps your energy up. You can cook them in advance or wait for your friends to join in. A menu is recommended here: an egg-white omelette with vegetables for breakfast, stir-fired chicken breast and vegetables for lunch, lentil soup and salad for dinner.
Do some exercise. Take some exercises whatever you like. Bike-riding, walk , yoga etc. are all useful. How much and what types of exercise you take are depending on your health situation.
Treat yourself some spa at home. A hot bath is the most common one. It is better to do it in the afternoon. After that you can also give yourself a home facial or manicure.
Spend some time quietly. In this period of time, you do nothing. You just feel what inside you or around you. It can be called a meditation.
Read some books on health or wellness. Get some inspiring ideas from those books.
The most important thing is to feel the love which is the best remedy for everything. The whole spa day should center on extending love and kindness to yourself. Make sure your companions feel the same way.
