How to Choose the Right Shade of Concealer

Choose a right concealer is really important while how to choose is indeed a problem. Which one is the right shade for me? Are you frustrated with this problem? Here are some tips to guide you to have the right choice. Finish it and then you will know how to choose the right concealer.

Both color and consistency should be considered when you choose a concealer. Most people may feel annoyed with the under-eye circles more or less. Yellow-toned concealers are best bet for under-eye circles coverage. If you have dark or black skin, choose orange-based tones. A concealer that provides major coverage is suitable for those who cover major under-eye circles. Your foundation must match your skin and your concealer shade should be 2 lighter than your foundation. Just like your foundation, you may need different concealers to meet different seasons’ needs. The same rule, lighter one for winter, darker one for summer. Chalky or greasy formulas that are too white or pink are not suggested.

Concealer is not a product that you should save. So, “try before you buy” is my suggestion. At department store or Sephora, try the color first on the area of your neck below your ear. You can dap the concealer on the blue vein on the inside of your wrist to test the consistency, according to the editors of Allure’s.
