Does 8 Glasses of Water a Day Really Hydrate Skin?

Of course it is a good thing for us to drink 8 glasses of water a day and keep our body hydrated. However, it could only hydrate the insides. The outermost layer of skin is made of Dead Skin cells, and they cannot absorb water from other parts of our body. If you want your skin moist, then you need to pay more attention to the outside environment, rather than the inside factors. Cold or hotair, wind, moisture in the air all affects your skin. Basic face care is necessary for a Healthy Skin. Exfoliating is extremely important for keeping a Moist Skin. You could exfoliate weekly to remove dead skin then apply a rich moisturizer while the skin is still damp. However, this does not means inside factors are not important. A healthy body is the source of Good Skin. So keep your habit and drink 8 glasses of water every day.
